Examination Invigilator - King's College London
We currently have an opportunity for invigilators to support the running of the examinations at King’s College London this May. Invigilators will be part of the examinations team that will support 63,000 candidates undertaking their examinations.
The role is based at Olympia, West Kensington and is available for a up to five weeks from 26th April 2019 – 31st May 2019. The working hours are 8.45am – 6pm on working days during May, with an hour’s lunch break.
Ideally we would like to work with candidates who are available for the full five week period. However, we may be able to offer some flexibility if you are able to demonstrate a sustained commitment for at least some of this period (e.g. available for three days a week, or able to work full-time hours for three weeks).
No prior invigilation experience is required and we welcome applications from candidates with all levels of experience. We are looking for enthusiastic people who can demonstrate common sense, accuracy, attention to detail, and are willing to provide the best examination experience possible for students. You must be reliable, punctual, have a flexible attitude to work and possess good communication skills. We are looking for strong team players with a focus on student experience.
Duties include setting up examination rooms, checking attendance, observing, collecting scripts, and liaising with candidates and examination staff to resolve queries.
