Job Title: Project Manager 
Location: Henley-on-Thames 
Hours: Part-time 20 hours per week
Salary: £22,000 - £30,000 full time equivalent 

Watsham Consulting is exclusively partnering with an IT Consultancy in Henley-on-Thames. Due to continued success and expansion, this privately owned consultancy is now seeking a part-time Project Manager. This role requires great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple project cycles at one time. You must be a confident communicator as you will be dealing with consultants and customers externally and internally, at varying levels of seniority. Strong excel skills and some prior exposure to project planning software is required.


  • Liaising with Customers to schedule and plan small works (typically less than 20 days)
  • Acting as 'Manager’ on smaller projects, tracking them through a series of known milestones
  • Monitoring time booked tracking and forecasting against expected effort
  • Flagging delivery issues which require escalation
  • Progress chasing and reporting to customer
  • Conducting regular progress calls and meetings with customer
  • Being responsible for the maintenance of overall resource usage and project demands using appropriate software
  • Monitoring the status of projects and alerting potential changes in scope or cost overruns
  • Ensuring timely completion of time records on our systems as much of your time will be chargeable to client



  • Previous experience of coordinating information systems projects
  • Experience in liaising with customers, consultants and/or account managers at varying levels of seniority
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident on telephone
  • Task plan creation and tracking
  • Ability to follow up/chase customer and internal resource
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Educated to A-Level or Degree level
  • Strong numeric skills


  • Living within a commutable distance to Henley-on-Thames (Badgemore)
  • Access to broadband internet connections when working from home
  • Competent in the use of project planning software
