Senior Business Protection Adviser (Life Assurance)

Position: Senior Business Protection Adviser 
Location: Head Office in Wellingborough 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 dependant on experience and qualifications; OTE: Uncapped £70,000+ in the first year (18-20% commission) 

About the role: 

We’re looking for an experienced business protection adviser who can deliver whole of market advice at board level. You’ll need to know the industry inside out and also be able to navigate around certain medical and lifestyle issues. Under the guidance of the protection director you’ll be able to cross into employee benefits and also business health care products. This is fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a multifaceted adviser dealing with high net worth business owners. 


- Be able to stick to a regulated framework and deliver the best possible client outcomes. 
- Digitally document everything with our (CRM) customer system. 
- Internally promote protection and health care to the Commercial Account Executives who will be passing you their clients. 
- Have a good telephone manner and be persistent in nature while delivering good results. 
- Be able to present at board level for client visit. 
- Demonstrate the ability to tailor effective solutions for each individual based on their circumstances. 

About you: 

- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in the life assurance sector offering whole of market advice. 
- Have a proven track record of offering business protection (Relevant Life, Key Person, Shareholder or Partnership). 
- If you have provided advice on health care and employee benefits is an advantage but not essential. 

Deal Breakers: 

- Qualification – R05 or CF3 is a requirement. 
- Ideally have CF1 or R01 or to be working towards this, or happy to do so. 
- Must have written business protection (Relevant Life, Key Person, Shareholder or Partnership). 

You may have experience of the following: Qualified Financial Advisor, Financial Protection, Life Assurance, Benefits Specialist, Financial Services, Regulations and Ethics, Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Life Insurance, Business Cover, etc.
