They are now looking for an experienced but hands-on Senior Production Accountant for one of their key divisions. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will lead & develop a small team of Prod Acc's as well as well as directly working on one of their main shows.
You are a seasoned Prod Acc ideally with some exposure to larger budget productions and managing staff. Superb career prospects working across all areas of the business in this creative fun, challenging but rewarding environment.
·Production Accountant on one of their major productions and other ad-hoc commissions
·Manage and develop a team of Production Accountants
·Manage cost reporting process
·Management of staff cost and shared resource recharges
·Management of project closure and creditor process
·Provide general financial support to the Head of Finance as appropriate
·Work alongside the Operations & Production Management teams regarding Replicon scheduling system and related umbrella contracts for employees
·Input into ongoing development of the companies Cost Book and budgeting templates
·Provide accounting support to production teams
·Develop and maintain the financial control and reporting systems necessary to maintain budgetary control over a production and provide financial reporting to the production team
·Liaise between production teams, finance teams and the business to ensure an accurate and efficient flow of transactional information, and prompt and accurate payments of staff and suppliers in accordance with contractual obligations.
·Critically analyse production budgets and suggest and implement cost control measures where appropriate
·Liaise with the Procurement Team to effectively drive down costs
·Champion best practise in financial processes and procedures.
·The ability to build positive professional working relationships with production staff, finance staff and key stakeholders
·Strong technical and analytical skills, with a track record of identifying issues and delivering solutions.
·Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to deliver high quality work to tight timetables.
