We are looking for someone who has a passion for growing, developing and defending profitable revenue streams to join our growing team as a Desk Based Account Manager. Role summary:

This is a new role in the business and will be central to driving forward our sales and marketing strategy. Joining an exciting and dynamic environment, we are seeking a driven individual with a real passion for sales and communications.

The role of the Desk Based Account Manager will involve working with GCI’s current client base to open, quantify and close sales opportunities from GCI’s extensive product portfolio.

The successful candidate will be a target orientated individual and an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.

Key responsibilities:

Proactively handle customer contact via calls and online leads
Be able to identify sales opportunities
Provide accurate, concise information around GCI’s products and services
Ensure all product lines and solutions are being sold in line with GCI’s values
To actively promote GCI to all inbound and outbound contact
Working closely with Marketing to deliver on Sales driven campaigns

Sales Orientated
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer focussed
Able to work well as part of a team and individually
Computer literate
Great attitude and focus to deliver
Previous telesales experience
Understand the importance of great customer service
Excellent numeracy skills
