Job role:   Interior Architect  With a creative & progressive Workplace focus

Location: The Chilterns, Bucks.

Are you looking to work in a part time capacity and seeking an amount of flexibility to address your work / life commitments?

Are you an Interior Architect, an Architect, or an architectural technician with significant experience working in the commercial office or hospitality sector.

Are you passionate about good design but pragmatic about the delivery of cost effective buildable solutions, often constrained by budget.

We are an established (est.1992) design practice based in the HP16 region of the Chilterns. Our focus is predominantly interior architecture, creating progressive workplace design, and we are looking for an experienced individual with flair, good organisational skills and a clear interest in the contemporary workplace, to join our team to reinforce and enhance our skill base and participate in supporting our current client needs, and our drive to expand our breadth of client and work typology.

We see the role as a part time position across 3 or 4 days, but full-time if that was the preference of the successful Applicant.  We are open to discussing flexibility of work hours/day(s).

Core areas are space-planning and workplace/space design and specification of interior fit out.   A good level of Autocad capability is essential, and we will be keen to see skills in BIM, Sketch-up, PowerPoint, Photoshop, etc, all these are seen as a benefit but not all as a pre-requisite.

It is essential that you can highlight experience of being a leading participant within the design and delivery of either workplace, or hospitality projects within a commercial structure. As such you be familiar with code requirements and dealing regularly with Clients, contractors, suppliers and other consultant groups.

The role will be predominantly based in our Chilterns studio but may involve occasional time in client offices or undertaking investigatory supplier visits.

We will look to offer competitive remuneration, with the position and package subject to a trial period for mutual satisfaction: our offer will be naturally subject to experience and the concluded weekly attendance pattern.

If this sounds attractive to you (more information about us can be found at www.tdn.co.uk), and you would like to be considered for the role, please forward your CV and supporting portfolio examples.
