Are you passionate about home care for elderly and vulnerable adults? Do you have what it takes to train and mentor carers in the training room and also in the community, giving them the skills to be quality carers? Hales Group Ltd are looking to recruit an additional Regional Trainer to join our established Home Care team of trainers covering the East Anglia region. The successful candidate will be joining a highly reputable and forward thinking organisation where your efforts will be recognised and rewarded.
Working as a Trainer in Home Care your main responsibilities will include supporting the branches in the East Anglia region and organising and delivering the Company's training and development plan. You will carry out training/development needs analysis in line with statutory and legislative requirements/standards and provide support and encouragement to all trainees during the training/development period. The role will also involve ensuring that all administration associated with the training division is kept up to date.
Ideally we would like to recruit someone who is qualified to PTLLS and experienced in training delivery within a domiciliary care setting; however we would also like to invite applications from experienced home carers who have the ambition and personality to move into a trainer role, in which case we would offer a training qualification as well as support to the candidate whilst they are actively delivering the training.
Key competencies and attributes for the role include a knowledge and understanding of the needs of service users and clients with complex care needs, dementia, learning disabilities or at the end of life; an even-tempered and patient nature; the ability to work on own initiative, with a strong sense of purpose and high standards of work; exceptional communication skills as well as the ability to develop strong working relationships with the learners and also competent IT skills.
If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
