Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for a reconciliations clerk for this rapidly growing organisation.

This is an entry level position we however we would like someone with finance reconciliation experience if possible, and ideally wanting to study AAT’s or have already started.

We are looking for someone good with excel skills, proven ability to meet deadlines & good communication. A can-do attitude, looking for solutions rather than problems and can work independently when needed.

• The purpose of the role is to ensure all takings control account items are under 30 days, all root cause analysis and follow up actions are performed to ensure the allocated surgeries are compliant as required.
• Main purpose is clearing non-reconciling items and ensure that the set escalation process is adhered to at all times

Responsible for:

• Ensuring Takings control account items are investigated, escalated and follow up actions preformed
• Takings Ctrl to stay within SLA; nothing over 30 days
• Verify difference and ensuring that the company protected against fraud
• All bacs control items are notified to surgeries and followed up to ensure that the items are cleared against the practise management systems with 7days
• BACS Ctrl to stay within SLA; nothing over 30 days
• Bank reconciliation items over 30 days should be investigated and followed up within 48hours
• Bank items to stay within SLA; nothing over 30 days
• Petty cash items over 30days should be queried, evidence gathered and reconciled
• Float items over 30days should be queried, evidence gathered and reconciled
• Sale ledger month end statement reconciliation as required
• Ensuring all tasks for which you are responsible are completed to a high standard of quality, and the teams SLA is adhered to at all times
• Building a productive and useful relationship with the surgeries and your processing counter-part to ensure first class service to surgeries at all times
• Helping create and promote a positive and supportive environment within the team

Essentials Skills & Experience

• Developed IT competence and PC Skills including use ERPS system & Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Self-disciplined and accurate approach to processing.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
