Direct Marketing Officer 

Position: Direct Marketing Officer 
Location: Central London, WC1N 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role: 

Do you want to work in a friendly and collaborative team on a range of direct marketing and digital campaigns? Then this is the role for you! 

We’re looking for a Direct Marketing Officer to provide campaign management support across our upgrade and reactivation campaigns, welcome programme and digital retention activity to help retain our regular givers. You might have direct marketing and digital experience in a charity or are looking to move into the sector from an agency or commercial background. 

About the Team: 

The role sits within the Direct Marketing team who help fund the hospital’s life-saving work through the recruitment and retention of cash, raffle and regular givers worth over £18 million to the charity. This post will support the Retention Manager. 

About you: 

The ideal candidate would be passionate about delivering great supporter experience, who is keen to develop their already strong project management and digital skills. It would suit someone with a creative and analytical mindset who takes a collaborative approach to projects. 

We’re looking for someone with: 

- Experience working within a charity, agency, direct marketing or digital team, through at least one annual marketing cycle 
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with a great eye for detail 
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels 
- Previous experience in working on digital campaigns (email marketing and social media advertising) 
- Passionate about the creative process e.g. copywriting 

The ideal candidate will also have: 

- Experience of reporting on financial information 
- A relevant marketing degree and / or qualification
