Deputy Manager (Therapeutic Care)

Location: Edenfield (BL0)

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Full Time - Permanent

Halliwell are a social enterprise that offers a clinically informed practice model and therapeutic programme encompassing educational, clinical and residential care services. Our objective is to enhance the psychological wellbeing of children within the 'looked after children' sector through our Restorative Parenting Recovery Programme.

About the Deputy Manager role:

You will work closely and supportively with the Registered Manager (Therapeutic Care) and Lead Deputy Manager (Therapeutic Care) to ensure high standards of care are consistently maintained. You will play a key role in ensuring that the homes operate at all times in accordance with all appropriate regulatory frameworks. You will supervise the Senior Therapeutic Parents and Therapeutic Parents, including chairing peer supervision meetings to ensure support in role and exchange of good practice across the team.

You will be able to communicate with and represent Halliwell in liaison with all appropriate external agencies and liaising with relevant outside agencies, representing Halliwell at meetings and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times. You will ensure the homes is maintained to a consistent standard in line with The Restorative Parenting Model. You will help to promote and embed a culture of safeguarding the welfare of children across all areas of practice and education.
