Business Development Executive - Fund Data Sales

Sector: Professional Services

Location: Central London

Salary: £30-40,000 basic with £60-70,000 uncapped OTE

* Selling data & ratings on investment funds into Asset Management, Financial Advisors & Wealth Management companies
* Providing crucial information to investment firms to help them make informed decisions
* Closing new business face to face with C-Level executives

The Role:

As a Business Development Executive, your job will be to proactively create new business opportunities with Asset Management, Wealth Management & Financial Advisory firms across Europe, maximise those revenue opportunities & provide a level of Account Management for the first year the client is bought on-board. Working for one of the 5 main players in this space, you will have the advantage of a well-established & trusted brand at your disposal.

The role will entail a full new business sales cycle, from initial contact through to several meetings with clients and closing deals, typically in the region of £50K per client. After the initial sale, you will have 12 months to nurture your client, before passing across to an Account Management team internally.

This mature and established business will provide you with all the support functions required to allow you to perform at your maximum capacity (Marketing, Account Management, Finance & Legal). Having recently hired a new CEO, our client is looking to elevate their business to new heights and see this Business Development Executive role as being a key part of that process.

As Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

* Pitching & winning new business deals
* Maximising client spend within the first year of them being on-boarded
* Achieving a revenue target

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

* 3 Years + experience selling a data/business intelligence/software solution into Asset Management firms
* Experienced in telephone & face to face sales
* Articulate, presentable, and commercially astute
