Fund Dealing Consultant

We are recruiting for a Fund Dealing Consultant to join our highly successful Operations department. This team handles £54 billion of pension assets on behalf of customers, delivering quality services to customers (employees/individuals, employers and trustees) and advisers.
The business is managed on three key systems, Unisure, NGP and My Money, across three key UK sites. We also have an offshore operation and two key outsourced arrangements for additional support.
Part of your role will be supporting bulk correction activities, correcting multiple client accounts where an employer or Aviva error has occurred, with specific focus on product governance errors.
What will you do in this role?
Undertake calculations and remedial steps to correct member accounts at a bulk level, particularly where a product governance issue has been identified, as well as bulk corrections which have arisen due to an employer error
You will effectively manage key collaborators throughout the processes and communicate technical information clearly
Act as a main point of contact in respect to all trade executions, fund events /corporate actions and related activities
You will establish links with clients / third parties / internal contacts and respond to queries in good time to comply within SLAs set
Receive client trade instructions and communicate them to relevant parties and the My Money platform teams within appropriate timeframes
Undertake manual trading as required in line with all regulatory and company requirements
You will attend client and third party meeting when required Liaise closely with the wider business e.g. Finance, Unit-linked Investments, Sales and Compliance
What skills/experience are needed?

Good analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information
You have a deep understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework that impacts our work in financial services
Ability to accurately update numerical and written data, and to maintain a complete audit trail
Prior experience in an analytical/problem solving role is essential
General knowledge and awareness of UK retail financial services.
This includes investment products, tax wrappers, financial planning and the systems and controls required for efficient and accurate investment administration
Excellent understanding of qualifying/non-qualifying investments and subscription limits related to all products
Certificate in Financial Administration (CII), Investment Administration Qualification/Investment Operations Certificate (CISI) and Investment Management Certificate or equivalent is desirable but not essential
Experience in investment administration roles e.g. representing a fund manager, fund platform provider, pension provider and/or custodian
Client servicing experience within retail financial services operations
Excellent communication and relationship skills, both verbal and written to convey complex information in simpler terms
You are flexible with a forward-thinking and innovative approach to problem solving
