It’s an exciting time for our UK Operations planning team. We are growing and looking for a new team member to help deliver effective planning in all areas of our operations.

As a capacity planner you will be part of the central team of planners and a member of the Planning Professional Forum. We’re passionate about sharing learning and developing new methods which allow us to be close to the customer but also part of a group of like-minded, problem-solvers driving innovation forward.
Bringing the numbers to life for your key stakeholders to enable decision making on the size and structure of their operation You will be responsible for predicting future demand and supply using a combination of predictive modelling skills and business insight Analysing all customer contact data and investigating new and improved ways of forecasting resource, including analysing calls, emails, social media presence and chat interactions Updating and maintaining a 12-month rolling capacity plan to support Aviva UK Operation’s resource strategy Understanding key demand drivers, using past trends and events combined with business insight to predict future demands/resource requirements Analysing supply data and updating assumptions to predict available resource Presenting assumptions and resource requirements in monthly assumption reviews to relevant stakeholders Supporting key stakeholders across UK Operations by contributing to an operation that improves year on year (efficiency, customer, value), by identifying and communicating insight relating to resource planning Building and maintaining relationships with influencers of demand such as Marketing and Pricing Working alongside the Financial Planning team and considering the annual budget when making resource recommendations
Skills and Experience:
You will need to be naturally inquisitive and eager to analyse different types of data
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities IT savvy, with the ability to predict future demands using your Excel knowlege developed from previous experience Proven experience in a similar role would be preferred
