If so, Cambridge Assessment has a great opportunity for a highly experienced Internal Change Communications specialist who is looking for their next challenge. You will project manage all change communication and engagement activity in relation to our transformation programme and associated strategic projects. With your broad internal communications experience at management level, you will develop a framework, processes, project communication plans and initiatives which support transformation in a way which connects our people to our transformation agenda, facilitating positive cultural change, and a highly engaged workforce.

The principal accountabilities are to:

Develop, own and implement an overarching transformation programme communications plan, involving the right people in change activity at the right time.

Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert. Specifically, as a team member on a number of strategic project teams, provide change communication and engagement support and delivery.

Work collaboratively with colleagues in across our communications network to deliver high impact interactions, events and campaigns through established and new channels.

Identify and coordinate key dependencies across work streams, flag and help trouble shoot issues and mitigate risks from a communications perspective.

Support the delivery of communication and engagement activity in relation to transformation with our senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
  • CIPD, CIPR or IOIC qualification, would be desirable


And have the following proven experience:
  • At least 5 years broad internal communications experience at management level, ideally within a multi-site, international organisation.


  • Proven track record of working as a change communications lead/manager, as part of a wider team, on large-scale transformation or complex change programmes, preferably technology-driven.


  • Strong ability to develop and deliver detailed change communication and engagement plans across a number of strategic projects at any one time.


  • Providing strategic and operational advice to a range of senior stakeholders.


  • Experience of designing and delivering inspiring employee events and initiatives.


  • Experience of end to end project management, including working with and managing relationships with 3rd party partners.
