Customer Service Advisor (Contact Centre)

Position: Customer Service Advisor 
Location: Darwen, Lancashire 
Job type: Full Time, 3 months Temporary Contract 
Hours: Monday to Friday between 8.30am & 6.30pm plus 1 in 3 Saturdays working up to 1pm; Training 5 days Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 
Salary: £16,770 per annum

About the role: 

The Customer Service Advisor will take incoming calls from our customers regarding the age related TV licence. 

We’re looking for people who can communicate confidently and listen intently whilst working out how to solve enquires to keep our customers happy. 

You’ll be taking calls from customers who have queries regarding the age related TV Licence. You don’t need heaps of technical expertise; but you should have a natural flair for conversation, genuine empathy and the resilience to address customer issues call after call. You’ll become a specialist in your area so you’re more likely to resolve our customers’ queries quickly and on the first call. 

About you: 

You will need to have excellent communication, listening and questioning skills, be customer focused, computer literate with the ability to work under pressure while meeting agreed targets. 

Previous Contact Centre experience would be an advantage and experience within a Customer Service role is essential. We also welcome applications from Welsh Language speakers of all levels. 

Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal, financial and journalism background check.
