Homes England brings together land, money, expertise, planning and compulsory purchase powers, with a mission to increase the delivery of new homes where they are most needed, and to deliver a sustained improvement in affordability.

Working in our Procurement Team you will support our development and investment activities including working on increasingly large and complex procurement activities to support Homes England’s efforts to stimulate the housing market.  These activities include procurement of site enabling works, professional services and disposal of land for housing.  The key requirement of the role will be to improve the quality of management information from understanding of our future pipeline through to the award of contract.

From day one, you’ll be encouraged, challenged, supported, stretched and listened to.  You’ll take ownership of collating pipeline information and projects to improve award and other procurement information requirements that will develop your skills and work with multi-disciplinary teams where your advice matters and directly helps enable us succeed in our mission to increase the delivery of new homes.

You’ll need real energy, be highly motivated and able to demonstrate your ability to work and succeed in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.  You will be curious, adaptable, unfazed by ambiguity, collaborative and commercially aware.  Strong intellectual and analytical skills are important too and we will support you to develop a broader procurement understanding and expertise.
