EVENTS AND MEMBERSHIP ASSISTANT

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy membership/events organisation on a full time, permanent basis. We bring together people and ideas, convening an extraordinary series of events through the year, across an extremely wide range of topics.

Role and Responsibilities

Role:                               Permanent

Location:                         Mayfair

Regular Office Hours:     09:00 – 18:00

(plus on average 2-3 events per week that require a 7am start for breakfast events or a  9.15pm finish for evening events)

The focus of your work should be to:

Assist the Events Manager to organize and deliver exceptional events:

  • Timely and accurate registration of members and guests on SalesForce, prioritizing attention to detail
  • Overall management of the Pi Events email box
  • Timely and efficient email correspondence with members and guests
  • Creation of event-related copy in Pi Capital’s standard format
  • Registration of guests at Pi Events, including managing venue logistics and other duties as required (7am start for breakfast events and 9.15pm finish for evening events)

Assist the Membership Manager to administer Pi membership:

  • Process new members, renewals and update member details (in SalesForce)
  • Answer membership enquiries
  • Manage member invoicing
  • Create reports / dashboards on Salesforce 
  • Assist with projects to update, maintain and maximise the use of SalesForce and other Pi Capital tools
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required

Personal qualities and skills:

  • Self-starter with ambition and enthusiasm
  • Excellent accuracy / attention to details and joy in being organised 
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
  • Friendly and approachable team player
  • Ability to be in Central London by 7am a must
  • Highest ethical standards, confidentiality and personal integrity
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, HTML and MailChimp an advantage
