Business Analyst / Product Owner

Salary: £ 35,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the role:

If you have experience in Business and / or Product analyses within a technical environment and a proven track record of working effectively as part of an agile delivery team, then this newly created role could be just for you.

You will be taking ownership of organising and prioritising work for the scrum team in line with our sprint cycles for our ground breaking and recently launched BioVolume product that allows researchers to use 3D technology in clinical cancer research.

Working closely with our product development team, using the latest technology trends available today to shape our products for the 3D market, you will take responsibility for the following:

- Managing and maintaining a prioritised backlog including logging enhancements and bugs.
- Communicating regularly with software developers and QA to ensure successful sprint releases.
- Measuring and monitoring the product performance and reporting this progress to the BioVolume Product Manager.
- Analyse and specify requirements to ensure that they are user-centric, complete and unambiguous.
- Participate in agile scrum activities such as sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog grooming and sprint review.

About you:

- Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant business / product analyst experience in a similar or comparable role.
- Experience of working effectively as part of an agile delivery team.
- Experience of JIRA, Confluence or equivalent.
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive.
- Well organised with strong time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK indefinitely and without visa restrictions (we are unable to sponsor visa applications).
