Your new role
The job will involve supporting pupils academically in Maths, Science and English on a one to one and small group basis in order to boost the academic achievement of the class and "close the gap" between academic abilities. You will also be required to offer lunchtime supervision and provide assistance in lunchtime clubs or lead your own lunchtime club.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate must therefore have a fun and bubbly nature, be calm and have an ability to build rapports quickly with both children and colleagues. In addition to this you must have proven and referenceable experience of working in an educational setting, preferably Key stage 1 or Key stage 2, be degree educated, have excellent written and spoken English and be motivated and ambitious to work in an educational setting with children.
