A leading Electrical Wholesaler is looking for a new Internal Sales Executive to join there Guildford branch to conduct business development and to look after existing clients.

This client is a leading Electrical Wholesaler group who has been around for more then thirty years and are again expanding their sales team, this time with the inclusion of a new Internal Sales Executive. Representing only the best electrical product manufacturers in the UK, this company strives to deliver the very best service and experience out in the market.


The Internal Sales Executive based in Guildford will ultimately be responsible for generating new business from new and existing clients, and assisting external sales team members with stock orders. The incumbent would be responsible for:

  • Generation of new business from cold-calling new clients (50%), as well generating extra business from existing clients (50%).
  • Monitoring of stock levels using the electronic ERP/CRM system and communicating these levels through to external sales staff.
  • Generation of new customer profiles using the electronic ERP/CRM system, and maintaining the accuracy of these profiles.
  • Placing of stock orders based upon the demand from customers and stock levels on the system.
  • Recommendation of appropriate equipment and goods as well as 'up-selling' of products to customers whenever possible.
  • Generation of orders and quotations for customers.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers on the delivery of goods.
  • Assisting with the sales counter from time-to-time.
  • Liaising with other branches throughout the UK, including coordinating movement of stock between branches.
  • Dealing with any customer queries in a professional manner


The Internal Sales Executive will need to possess:

  • Proven sales experience within the Electrical Wholesale industry.
  • A hungry, 'can-do' attitude with the willingness and drive to succeed and go further with their sales career.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work both within a team and individually.
