RBW Consulting are recruitment specialists with the Pharmaceutical, MedTech, Healthcare Communications, IT, Data Science & HR industries. We work on a global basis and have been established since 2007.

We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Associate to work alongside our Finance Director. The candidate will have a breadth of experience across the finance sector and the ability to work independently and to tight deadlines.

The successful Finance Associate responsibilities will include and not be limited to:

  • Process sales and purchase ledger financial transactions appropriately
  • Credit control
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers based on services provided
  • Process and track payments incoming and outgoing
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Review employee expenses and make reimbursements
  • Check invoices against items or services received for contractor payment and client billing
  • Check all financial transactions for accuracy
  • Create and monitor MI reporting
  • Multi-currency transaction process and multi company
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Asset control and depreciation
  • PAYE understanding
  • Balance sheet and P & L reconciliation
  • VAT returns and EC sales reporting
  • To manage the contract process for the business
  • Onboarding new contractors, collating all documentation prior to contract start
  • To be the client, candidate and third party point of contact for any contract queries
  • Ensuring contract paperwork and documentation is maintained and up-to-date
  • Maintaining company business terms for all clients documenting

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with bookkeeping practices in both sales and purchase ledger

Knowledge of accounting terminology

Experience with accounting systems, Exro

Mathematical skills

Administrative skills

Organisational skills

Attention to detail

Analytical skills

Ability to detect inconsistencies

Prioritisation skills

Communication skills.

Minimum - Qualified by experience or AAT level

This role is demanding in a fast paced environment and flexibility is key to success

To be considered for this role you must be working within an accounts function at present, and will be a confident user of Excel and accounting packages. You must be able to communicate effectively both internally and externally. Previous experience in working for a recruitment company would be an advantage.
