About us

Everyone wants a job with a purpose - to do something really meaningful.

At emh care & support you will make a difference; you will help older people and people with learning difficulties or disabilities to live an enjoyable, independent life. You will do this by advocating on their behalf and by providing activities, support, care, and housing that matches their needs.

emh care & support also provide diverse housing and supported living services to a range of people whose circumstances have made their lives or their housing vulnerable, such as teenage parents; older people; and homeless people.

In return for your hard work and passion we can offer you various opportunities and training. So why not come and join us to support people with their needs and build on a rewarding career path.

The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for Support Workers to join our teams in Derbyshire. These roles are on a Relief, zero hours basis and are ideal for candidates who like the flexibility that these contracts allow. Shifts will be based on rota and will include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and waking nights.

As a Support Worker you will provide high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the organisations policies and procedures.

You will also provide care and support for service users, encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves in order to develop and maintain their independence and physical ability. Whilst also ensuring a healthy, safe and clean environment for service users in their home and encouraging their involvement in achieving this.

If you want to change the lives of people and have an opportunity to make an impact, then we would like to hear from you!
