Full-Time Monday - Friday 9 - 5:30

£25,000 - £35,000 DOE (+ uncapped commission)

Hunters’ client is a rapidly growing recruitment specialist. The Business Development Consultant will use their drive and passion to network with new clients and develop relationships that will generate business and allow them to actively organise and manage the entire recruitment lifecycle to the highest professional responsible for managing the full candidate sourcing cycle. The Business Development Consultant will play a pivotal role in sourcing high quality candidates to meet the specific needs of clients.

Key Role Functions

·Business development, identifying new clients to approach and growth of existing accounts

·Providing an excellent level of customer service in a B2B capacity

·Face to face meetings with clients and ability to present and promote business services

·Follow up of leads from colleagues, candidates, clients and advertisements

·Negotiating client rates and contract agreements

·Relationship management with client accounts, ensuring targets are met and excellent customer service is delivered

·Demonstrating the ability to clearly define client requirements for use by the resourcing team for candidate selection

·Writing and posting of vacancies on job boards

Person specification

·Experience providing an excellent level of customer service in a B2B capacity

·Experience working to and meeting demanding targets and deadlines

·Skilled in closing sales

·A professional & confident telephone manner

·An assertive approach to recruitment and sales

·Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment

·Desirable - knowledge of or interest in IT
