The role will involve being responsible for the development of new and existing accounts. You will undertake the prospecting of potential clients through advertising, business development, trade associations and visits to clients' offices to discuss their insurance requirements. Working in conjunction with internal brokers, you will make full market submissions and write new business reports for presentation to clients. In addition, you will negotiate the renewal of existing business with the client, whilst undertaking a full review of the insurance portfolio.
Applicants applying for this vacancy must have relevant development experience of commercial insurance and hold the ACII (or equivalent) or progression towards. You will have excellent relationship building skills with high level customers and/or brokers. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
