My client who have been established since the 1990,s , with a history of growing and developing world class and industry leading conferences, exhibitions are now looking for a Sales & Sponsorship executive to join their ever growing and successful business. Their business is based around core skills in sales, marketing, operations and customer service. Based in west Kent, they organise events across the UK and Europe.

As a sales & sponsorship executive, this is a great opportunity, to join a thriving and established organisation, where theres room for travel and face to face meetings with potential and established clients as well as attending exhibitions.

You will be enthusiastic, confident, sociable, a consultative sales professional with a proven track record in media sales or a related industry. You will be self motivated and happy to work to targets, you will have strong interpersonal skills. As an exhibition & sponsorship sales professional you will be joining a high performing, commercially driven team, working in a great and collaborative team environment.

Your role & responsibilities:

The role initially will be office based, good and proactive approach to sales, you will have demonstrable experience of picking up the phone and making calls

You will be fully conversant with a range of products and services so that you can achieving weekly and monthly targets as set out by the sales manager

You will be required to attend industry B2B exhibitions, seminars and networking events

Communicating with departments to ensure successful coordination of the events

Generating new opportunities by making B2B calls as well as maximising incoming stand enquiries

Proficient in lead sourcing and managing your own sales pipeline

Managing relationships with potential and current exhibitors

Opportunity for the role to expand into face-to-face meetings with potential and current exhibitors

Weekly & monthly reporting to the event director on progress, sales forecasts, prospects and new business development ideas.

Basic salary to 26k plus commission.
