We currently require an Administrator to join the Income team in our Abingdon office to deliver administrativesupport to our team of Income Officers.

The focus of this vital role is to contribute to the efficient running of the team by providing accurate administrativesupport which includes producing letters, handling post, updating and managing the housing database system, filing and scanning documents and dealing with low level rent arrears, including taking some payments over the telephone. You will also be responsible for monitoring garage rent accounts and assisting with other duties as required while ensuring that all standards are met and policies and procedures are followed.

Applicants must have strong administrative experience gained within a busy office environment and be highly organised with the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritiseeffectively and manage a busy workload, often to tight deadlines. Excellent IT, team working and customer service skills are essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to support residents and resolve queries quickly and efficiently.

Experience within a housing related environment would be a real advantage but is not essential as relevant housing training will be provided.
