Office Manager – ACCA Qualified SALARY: Competitive/DOE BENEFITS: Company Pension, 24 days holidays + bank holidays HOURS: Hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm with an hour lunch break unpaid 35 hour paid week LOCATION: NR19 Our client is an established Mid Norfolk Firm of ACCA Accountants, with associate offices around the United Kingdom. In line with their continued success, our client is currently recruiting for an Office Manager . As an Office Manager within our client’s small team, you will provide effective support to the Office Director, through management and development of both the people working within the practice as well as supplying regular management information and overseeing the development of the office procedures etc generally. Capable and organised, you will contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service, profitable growth and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. You will also co-ordinate the workflow through the office, develop staff and get involved in special campaigns and projects along the way. You will be able to prepare accounts for businesses and small companies and have a good working knowledge of Corporation Tax, Business Tax, Self-Assessment, PAYE and VAT. A working knowledge of IHT and Trusts would also be a bonus but not essential. Job Specification •Responsible for the overall management of the Practice compliance to ensure the FCCA, GDPR and company regulations are satisfied. Development of the sales team through coaching and training. •Preparing more complex accounts. Reviewing accounts and calculating tax liabilities. Meeting clients and having client contact. •Managing the office and staff etc. Person Specification •Experience of developing, leading, managing and motivating. •Ensuring all statutory deadlines are met. •Proven experience as an office manager, front officer or senior administration assistant. •Strong People Management skills. •Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work. •Creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements. •Passion for delivering training and implantation of processes. Skills & Qualifications •Organisational, problem solving and leadership skills. •Proven track record of successfully managing a team of individuals. •IT skills including use of word, excel. •Good communication skills both with staff and clientele. •ACA or ACCA qualified. •Knowledge of financial service/previous experience of working in a regulated environment preferred.
