Genomics Sales Account Manager – NGS Services Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + £10,000 OTE (Uncapped & paid monthly) + £450 Monthly Car Allowance + 5% Pension + Private Healthcare + Laptop + Mobile + iPad + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Day off for your Birthday Territory: Cambridge (East Anglia area) & London Home Location: You will be based in either Cambridge or London The Requirements of the Genomics Sales Account Manager: To be considered for the Genomics Sales Account Manager you will be educated as a minimum to BSc level (ideally MSc or PhD) in a Life Sciences field, such as Genetics, Biochemistry, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related Previous laboratory experience/knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing, Sanger Sequencing or Genotyping would be an advantage A minimum of 3+ years sales experience of genomic services ideally in the areas of Next Generation Sequencing, Sanger Sequencing, Genotyping Services, Microarray Services OR experience selling high value and complex Genomics equipment and kits in the Biotechnology or Biopharma sectors An ability to network throughout a complex customer, developing multiple partnership-based relationships in a range of departments with contacts demonstrating an array of personality types Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate and punctual reports Full UK driving licence & able to spend approximately 50% of your time travelling in the territory A self-motivated and self-driven individual, who demonstrates a strong desire to drive business to achieve personal and Company goals The Responsibilities of the Genomics Sales Account Manager: This role involves significant client engagement and relationship management within the Cambridge & London areas You will drive sales of Genomic Services (NGS, Sanger Sequencing, Microarray & Genotyping and more) by selling to existing and new clients, to meet targets set by the Sales Manager and represent my client professionally at all times Increase competitive advantage by building strong partner relationships between my client and the key customer, developing trust through collaboration Represent the company at local and national conferences and exhibitions Work with all areas of the organisation to ensure customer requirements are met Work with colleagues at partner locations to share ‘best practice’ driving conformity across the customer sites Use the key business tools to help drive performance (CRM & Sales Planning Tool). Provide feedback using verbal and written reporting tools to the business on customers, competitor activity, promotions etc, to agreed timescales and in agreed format as directed by the Sales Manager The Client: My client is an industry leading and international provider of bespoke Genomics products and services Their portfolio of services covers specialist areas such as Next-generation sequencing, Sanger sequencing, Microarray analysis, Genotyping and Bioinformatics They have over 15 years of experience serving the Genomics market which makes them a trusted partner and supplier to many well-known Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology companies globally
