Deal Architect / Global Sales Account Director who can create and manage complex value pro positions within the Global Network and IT Infrastructure Services Industry is required for a Global Blue-Chip Company. JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Deal Architect / Global Sales Account Director who can create and manage complex value propositions within the Global Network and IT Infrastructure Services Industry. Working as the Deal Architect / Global Sales Account Director you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a solution (including technical, operational and commercial designs) fit together in a consistent manner and satisfy the business requirements and other objectives of the customer. This is a strategic client facing role focused o n individual opportunities championed through to contract signature . As the Deal Architect / Global Sales Account Director , you will develop the ideal solution for customers, by providing in-depth business and technology expertise. Your understanding of the customer’s business challenges and their IT and Communications environment will help you identify potential opportunities and develop a business case to position value added services . This highly strategic role leads, orchestrates and drives the negotiation and successful closure of major, complex deals. Alongside the account management team, the Principal Deal Architect / Global Sales Account Director forms a strong and crucial relationship with key customers. The role manages a significant amount of risk for business case driven deals and requires innovative strategies that are highly complex and not part of the standard portfolio. These deals typically require MD, and in some cases CEO, approval. DUTIES Your duties and responsibilities include: Manag ing deals with contract values from £20m up to £200m+ for key strategic customers Managing the customer engagement for the deal; understanding requirements and managing expectations both internally and with the customer Coordinating the many organisational capabilities and functions required to execute the deal, working closely with the Bid Management Managing the risk of such deals, ensuring stakeholders are kept well informed throughout and everything is clearly documented Leading the commercial negotiations for the deal, leveraging internal finance, legal and bid management resources Taking ownership and accountability for the contract and all schedules whilst ensuring alignment with all internal stakeholders IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Strong experience of creating compelling business cases, with a strong risk management element, for high value deals Clear experience of initiating, managing and closing complex, strategic deals Ability to gather and utilise robust data to support well documented analysis and decision making Building strong cross-functional relationships, leading and supporting multiple virtual teams Effective communication at all levels, both internally and externally Interpretation, use and presentation of technical and commercial information Ability to work under pressure (often away from home) and coordinate the team to deliver timely and consistent outputs An exceptional affinity for problem solving Exceptional negotiation skills, both in terms of the development of a solution and in agreeing commercial terms C-Level relationship building skills HOW TO APPLY P lease submit your CV to our Recruitment Team.
