Last year St John Ambulance treated 90,000 patients at 20,000 events. Making sure St John people have the resources they need - ambulances, treatment centres, temporary structures, clinical equipment, medical gasses, uniform and protective clothing - is no easy task.

30,000 St John people meet in 600 buildings across England. Making sure these facilities are fit for purpose and provide a great training environment is essential. Our fleet comprises 800 vehicles many of which are mission critical and need to be ready for use 24/7.

You will provide strategic leadership to our fleet, logistics and facilities teams. Making sure our fleet, equipment and buildings are well maintained and ready for use is key to delivering our mission of "best experience, best care". St John people need reliable, modern equipment and so developing replacement programs and the associated financial plans is a priority.

You will be a member of our Community Operations Divisional Leadership Team and report to our Chief Operating Officer and you will have a background in planning, leading and delivering high quality support services in a mission critical sector.

Being based in our communities is important to us. This role can be based in any SJA location such as, London, Bristol, Birmingham, Stevenage, Ossett, Manchester and be negotiated with the successful candidate.

Salary: £75K - £87K (Rest of England) £85K - £97K (London)
