Senior Sales Advisor at BrightHouse

Location: Kilmarnock

Salary: £18,529

Hours: 39 Hours (5 days Monday - Saturday) We are closed on Sundays!

We are seeking an ambitious, sales driven individual to provide excellent customer service, and product knowledge to new, and existing customers on the shop floor.

Sales advisors help customers find the perfect product to suit their needs, and build strong customer relationships throughout the duration of their rent-to-own agreements.

What will you be doing?
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, understanding the customer requirement and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Promote and encourage this approach within the team.
  • Complete sign off process for agreements completed by colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager to ensure company and FCA processes have been adhered to.
  • Complete the store open and close process in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times and building strong customer relationships
  • Following the BrightHouse sales process, ensuring full customer understanding and accuracy of completed agreements
  • Performing credit checks
  • Arranging the delivery of products and booking product services
  • Generating new business over the telephone and in-store
  • Resolving in-store customer complaints and referring to management when appropriate
  • Processing customer payments

Required Skills:
  • Passionate about the making sure our customers have a positive experience when they are in store.
  • Role model to other colleagues.
  • Strong Sales with the ability to communicate well with both colleagues and customers.
  • Able to demonstrate effective sales technique.
  • Able to demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • A proven track record of consistent strong commercial performance within retail.
  • PC literate (competent using Excel, etc)
