Job Title: Finance Manager
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm


The Company: Having been established for over 15 years, this company is dedicated to providing the best service for their clients and are responsible for consulting on the installation, maintenance and repairs of the products in their field.

Purpose of the role: this is a fantastic opportunity for a well-experienced Accounts Assistant to take the next step up in their career to Finance Manager!

You will be responsible for all finance functions from financial statements to processing & reconciliation.

Job Duties:
  • Ensure compliance with internal finance and accounting procedures and policies
  • Day to day financial control including month end and year end processes
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monitor business performance
  • Prepare financial and management accounts reports
  • Analyse various projects
  • VAT and CIS returns
  • Process payroll and expenses
  • Ad hoc duties

Skills/Experience Required:
  • Previous experience with Sage 50 and Sage 50 Payroll ideal, but not essential
  • Advanced skills within Microsoft Excel
  • Strong experience in a similar position, managing a finance function of a business
  • Team player
  • Strong communication skills
