Our client, a global market leading VAR, are looking to hire an Account Director to join our hugely successful sales operation to identify new business and manage a number of key accounts to drive revenues and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new prospects and convert them into key accounts
  • Develop and manage key accounts to their full potential
  • New business development - cold calling and email marketing
  • Continually update and develop product and market knowledge
  • Working to and achieving KPI's (call and revenue targets)
  • Booking, organising and hosting customer meetings and events meetings
  • Creating and issuing quotations, understanding strategy leading to project-based work.

Requirements
  • Previous experience from a top 100 VAR preferred. Vendor or Distributor also considered.
  • A proven IT sales track record, ideally in high-end products and solutions
  • A natural ability to build customer rapport
  • Self-motivation and ambition
  • A natural business acumen
  • A proven ability to develop and close business opportunities

Our cllient offers a highly competitive package, including an uncapped OTE and attractive benefits

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm

Occasional/Regular UK travel required.
