Position: Support Worker
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (commutable from Wheatley, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full-Time, Bank, Permanent
Salary: £8.25 to £8.85 per hour (subject to National Minimum Wage and qualifications)

About the role:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Group for Support Workers in the Aylesbury area which will be to work within our Adult Learning Disabilities service. We have both a residential service and supported living accommodation.
Our supported living service is located to the rear of our Residential Home, Wendover House, and are self-contained apartments separate to the House. These are home to adults who have a learning disability and need support with certain aspects of their lives but wish to remain as independent as possible. You will support individuals to develop their own life skills, so cooking, shopping, laundry, health appointments, managing their own finances, individual interests / activities / employment. You will also encourage positive risk taking and keeping safe. You will work as agreed in individual support plans. We support every individual using our service on a 1:1 basis as minimum.
