What it's about

We're looking for an experienced, creative Deputy Director to work in the Development Division of Cambridge Assessment International Education. We develop products and services for Cambridge schools and learners in over 160 countries across the world. You'll be leading a close-knit team, working within a supportive management culture. You'll be responsible for interpreting emerging trends in curriculum support, both face to face and digital assessment products and services in the international education market, and translating these into viable commercial products and services that add real value for Cambridge schools.

We're looking for someone who can
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of trends in uptake of digital products and services in international schools
  • Take responsibility for products and services developed by the Innovation and Curriculum Support Team and for close collaboration with colleagues in Assessment, Education and Operations Divisions, as well as Sales and Marketing
  • Engage with customers, markets and regional teams to gain first-hand insights
  • Gather requirements for products and services and manage third-party suppliers
  • Work with the User Experience, Design and Trials teams to translate high-level product requirements into great solutions for customers
  • Lead on the development of business cases for new digital products and services
  • Monitor the commercial performance of digital products and services.

  • Educated to degree level, or a post graduate degree.
  • Experience of (and ideally accredited in) PRINCE2, MSP, and/or other project/programme management methods and approaches
  • Experience of educational publishing, or product development
