Covering: North East Region

Salary - £30,000 - £32,000 - Negotiable, Depending On Experience.

My client is on of the world leaders in the construction industry. Specialising in Demolition, it has championed the standards of professionalism for more than 75 years. They provide specialist training courses in the UK and have been independently recognised and awarded by well respected third parties for their contribution to the sector.

We are looking for an experienced trainer who will be responsible for delivering all my clients training courses across the region. Reporting directly to the Group Manager, Training Officers & Chairman and liaising with Office Managers & Administration team, this role Is a vital part of companywide operations.

The responsibilities for the role are as follows -

- Delivering all training courses (Full training will be given, including Train-the-trainer for all courses. First training delivery sessions to be conducted as 'co-teach' until desired performance and standards and sufficient course and industry knowledge is demonstrated.

- Responsible for delivering an interactive and engaging training experience for all candidates, including evaluations and assessment for candidate's performance and recommendations for a career path in the industry.

- Conduct training in a manner cohesive and compliant with the high standards expected, whilst applying a flexible training approach to individual candidate/group needs.

- Promote and support health & safety policies and procedures.

- Prepare training environment, materials and equipment - ensuring venue and materials are fit for purpose and achieve quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have the following -

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Trainer/Facilitator is essential

- Level 3 AET (Award in Education & Training) is essential

- Experience in and knowledge of the construction and or preferably demolition industry is an advantage but not essential.

- Excellent communications and presentation skills are critical

- Proven track record of effective training delivery - references & testimonials required.
