Our client is based in Epsom and are seeking an Office Administrator to join their small friendly team of 3 on a full-time basis. They were founded in 2014 and since this time have steadily grown with a continued healthy growth plan.

About the Administrator role:

In this varied role you will be assisting in the administration of office and project administration, such as quotations, subcontractor works and orders.?Responsibilities will include:
  • Responding to customers via email, post and telephone and processing all aspects of administration including: Typing estimates, tenders, producing tender support documents, work packs, collating site and client documentation, composing spreadsheets,
  • Provide support to estimating and project managers as required
  • Assist in the preparation of Health & Safety compliance in the office and externally
  • Arranging external training courses for engineers, collating training certificates and recording training refresher dates
  • Plant and equipment hiring and off hiring
  • Checking invoices against purchase orders, raising queries where necessary and issuing purchase orders
  • Support and assist in development and improvement of office systems, policies and procedures where necessary
  • Providing general administrative support, working flexibly across departments where required

About you:

You need to have excellent interpersonal skills; be a confident verbal and written communicator with the ability to communicate with all levels. You will also have a minimum of 5 GCSE's including Maths and English at Grade C or above - or equivalent

Other skills and attributes required:
  • Have a strong numerical background
  • Excellent IT skills including Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage time effectively and deliver to tight deadlines
  • A proactive approach, show initiative and pay attention to detail
  • High level job commitment & take responsibility for personal development

What they will provide:
  • Training would be given in office procedures and administrative duties
  • Salary is dependent on experience
  • Contributory Pension Scheme
  • Working hours Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm with an hour break for lunch
