Junior Office/IT Assistant (Part Time or Full Time)
The Steel Construction Institute is looking to recruit a Junior Office/IT Assistant to support with everyday tasks within our offices based in Ascot, Berkshire. This will be a very varied role, primarily assisting the Marketing Manager and IT Manager. Along with general admin and maintaining our membership database, you will be responsible for setting up and running webinars using an established system, assisting with the roll out of new IT equipment and responding to basic internal IT requests, so good general technical skills will be required. You will also play a key role in the company's social media presence and will be required to post on our LinkedIn and Twitter pages regularly. Although experience is not essential, you will need to be highly motivated, methodical and have an interest in up to date technology. Good communication skills are required as you will be working with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also need a good knowledge of basic office packages, such as Word and Excel. Own transport would be preferable due to the location of the office. The SCI is a small-medium size member based organisation, providing services relating to the effective use of steel in construction. Our offices are located within beautiful grounds on the Silwood Park estate and we offer subsidised gym membership to the on-site gym.
