Sales and Account Manager - Wellness Company

£23-25k basic + bonus (generous commission structure)


Our client combines DNA and microbiome technologies with digital health data to inspire people into positive lifestyle change and lead them to a healthier future. To achieve this, they have two tests available in the UK. Both tests feed into a platform, which allows users to take control of their health through actionable, personalised recommendations.

They are a fast growing start up business implementing a rapid increase of their sales department whose efforts are targeted towards a multitude of industries. These currently include but are not limited to:
  • Clinics / Independent Practitioners
  • Leisure & Fitness
  • Retailers
  • Pharmaceutical

Key responsibilities of the Sales & Account Manager-
  • Monitor client activity in assigned territory and pro-actively contact clients regarding revenue and volume trends.
  • Manage a number of existing accounts providing support on maintaining and developing relationships.
  • Contacting new and low volume clients to promote products.
  • Support in the targeting of new clients executing new business call campaigns.
  • Maintain and update client information in CRM system.
  • Generate and analyse weekly and monthly revenue reports.
  • Work with the Head of Business Development to improve and enhance commercial offering to the UK market.

Experience and skills required-
  • 3-5 years of telephone and in-person sales experience as well as Account Management.
  • Candidate must be familiar with computer programs such as Word and Excel.
  • Must show a high level of creativity, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Must be pro-active in approach.
  • Must be multi-task oriented, courteous and organised.
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable working with physicians, their staff and taking on a sales role.
  • Must be willing to work evenings & weekends as needed to support meetings/conferences.
  • A degree in a health-related and/ or marketing/ sales field is preferable but not essential.
