Position: Project Manager 
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Salary: Remuneration £50-70k

About the role: 

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of projects. Working with your team, you will have full commercial and technical responsibility. 


- Developing project plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed 
- Organising and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion 
- Assemble and coordinate project team members; assigning individual responsibilities and ensure team cohesion 
- Lead and manage all commercials aspects of the project 
- Create and maintain positive and strong customer relationships focusing on the long term 
- Prepare requests for proposals, studies etc. 
- Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications 
- Provide mentoring and guidance to more junior members of the delivery team 

About you: 

- Proven track record of delivery projects to an external customer with full commercial responsibility 
- Experience with managing software development teams 
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
- Ability to negotiate with and influence a broad range of stakeholders at all levels 
- Ability to communicate technical information to a business user 
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to hold an audience 
- Driving licence and willingness to travel 

Desired skills: 

- Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehousing industry knowledge and experience 
- Linguistic ability 
- Science or Mathematic based education preferred
