Salary: £38,490 - £47,044 per annum

Hours: 35 per week

About the role:

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Senior Management Accountant will support budget holders to embed financial planning, commercial thinking and budgetary control.

Support budget holders with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring assumptions are challenged and the budget is affordable, deliverable with risks and opportunities recorded. Continually monitor financial performance and deliver management accounts which are accurate and add value to the business. Embed a high support/high challenge environment and drive through efficiencies and improvements in all our processes.

About You:

You will have a recognised professional accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA etc) or a strong QBE. You will have experience within a finance setting, ideally within a regulated environment. Experience of preparing budgets, forecasts and management accounts. Experience of delivering efficiency savings and driving business decisions.

You will be confident in challenging the status quo and always looking for continuous improvement.

You will also have strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel, and experience manipulating large volumes of data for multiple scenarios. You will be a proven relationship builder and influencer with stakeholders, with proven management skills. You will also have the ability to travel between sites to meet external commitments.

You may have experience of the following: Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Company Accountant, Financial Accountant, Project Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Qualified Accountant, AAT, ACCA, CIMA, Housing Association, Social Housing, etc.
