To £23,000 + Commission

An opportunity to join a growing business as an Events Specialist. You will be responsible for managing event and wedding enquiries acting as the key liaison between the guests and the venues to ensure that all guests have the information they require to ensure a successful and memorable event.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all incoming event and wedding enquiries and provide the client with all information they require in good time.
  • To be fully aware of facilities available at the locations.
  • Arrange show rounds and site visit with the on-site team members
  • Arrange contracts, chase deposits, send invoices and ensure that notes and paperwork for each booking is accurate and up to date.
  • Respond to all client questions in the run up to the event
  • Arrange menu tastings and final details calls for all bookings.
  • Liaise with the General Manager, Head Chef and external suppliers regarding requirements and timings prior to the day.
  • Organise facilities and discuss all event's details with the client in order to provide all required information to the on-site team within good time of the event in the form of a function sheet.
  • Liaise with marketing and site teams to identify event opportunities and generate interest to promote and publicise events
  • To provide line manager with statistical and financial information updates relating to events and wedding sales on a weekly and monthly basis
  • To ensure that room allocations are carried out to correctly and effectively to maximise sales.
  • Maintain good communication with each site's management team and the operations managers at head office.
  • Ensure that we comply with all requirements for insurance, food hygiene and licensing for each event.
  • To be an ambassador of the brand demonstrating amazing interpersonal skills, building rapport with all guests, offering fantastic product knowledge and service.
  • Deal directly with guests either by telephone or email and be a consistent point of contact managing the process from enquiry through to planning the stay and aftersales care ensuring at all times that guests are fully communicated to effectively and promptly.
  • Be focused on achieving set conversion targets and sales targets
  • Be fully knowledgeable of all sites, properties and services in the Together Travel portfolio to be able to confidently and enthusiastically pass on this knowledge to the guest.
  • Process reservations, concierge requests and complete daily reports with excellent attention to detail.
  • Participate in familiarisation visits with the purpose of accumulating product knowledge.
