Our Client is the UK's largest agricultural, construction and ground care machinery dealership, turning over £115m per annum from 19 locations across East Anglia and the South East. They are currently looking for an Administrator/PA who is keen and driven, to join the team at the company's Fyfield (near Chelmsford) branch, based in Essex.

This role is to work within the branch and you'd be reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager and is the perfect role for a keen individual looking to assist the team and provide an efficient service at their Fyfield branch.

Duties (include but are not limited to):

You will be responsible for providing a first-class administrative service within the branch in addition to maintaining effective and accurate communications between customers and members of staff. You will be working as a Personal Assistant to the Branch Manager but you must be prepared to assist other departments in the branch as required.
  • Personal assistant duties for the Branch Manager
  • Receiving calls from customers and redirecting them to other employees in the company
  • Dealing with numbers and handling of cash
  • Be the first point of contact for the Branch and the Branch manager, responding to calls and emails professionally
  • Managing the diary of the Branch Manager and other senior members of staff
  • Booking appointments and general administrative duties

Person Specification
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with customers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the business
  • Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature
  • First class keyboard and PC skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word, Excel and Publisher
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Be organized with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Have a flexible and approachable manner
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work well with others
  • Be confident and show initiative
  • Professional and tidy appearance
  • Attention to detail
