We have an exciting opportunity within our Audit team for an Audit Consultant to work across our offices in Kings Cross and Streatham.

About the Role

The Audit Consultant will provide statistical analysis and administrative support to the PRS for Music . Create high level management reporting; communicating on all aspects of the PRS for Music licensee audit programme. Assist the team in ensuring efficient working practices, delivering procedural changes and forging and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.

The Audit Consultant will work along-side the Senior Audit Manager to audit and monitor the strategy for PRS for Music's Licensing division. Working with the manager to implement the set strategy, and continue the programme of audits of key broadcast, online and recorded media customers, which maximises the revenues back to MCPS and PRS members.

Some other duties will include:
  • Maintaining detailed management information and generating KPI (key performance indicators) to support department objectives.
  • Responsibility for organisation and creation of PRS for Music committee papers and meetings. Liaising with data teams across PRS for Music including third parties.
  • Responsibility for managing a portfolio of external customer audit examinations, which will include direct settlement negotiations with licensees as well as providing support to the Senior Audit Manager and team as necessary.
  • Using market and statistical analysis to profile/assess new examination targets
  • Collating and preparing data from internal Revenue Division databases and preparing it for use by our appointed auditors.

About You

You will have proven experience of creating high level reports for management with statistical analysis. You will enjoy working as part of a wider team with a focus on building close working relationships and being collaborative. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of planning, execution and reporting on audits and experience of managing multiple third-party service providers. Has the ability to problem solve and time management within a fast-moving environment.

Education and Skills Requirements
  • Educated to degree standard or with relevant professional qualification.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • High level of excel knowledge and data interrogation skills.
