Financial Controller - Hemel Hempstead

£35,000 - £50,000 basic salary dependent on experience plus benefits package.

Our client, a leading business (within their sector) operating across the UK are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to work out of their offices based in Hemel Hempstead.

The successful candidate will have previous experience doing a similar role for a minimum of 4 years and have Sage Line 50 Accounts knowledge. They will have strong double entry bookkeeping experience and previous management reporting experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Management reporting activities on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis to produce information for the board
- Cash flow reporting
- Chasing debtors, supplier liaison and spend reporting
- Dealing with auditors and preparing year end information
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Credit control for overdue customer balances
- Chasing missing invoices and purchase ledger credit notes
- Bank reconciliations
- Making payments
- Oversee/posting all purchase ledger invoices

The performance measures for this role will be based on the following:

Because of the changing nature of our clients business your job description will inevitably change. You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.

You will from time to time be required to visit Group Offices currently located in Anglian region, Midlands and Milton Keynes.
