Retrofit Surveyor 

Salary: £30,474 to £37,246 per annum 
Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Location: Head office - Greater Manchester

About the role: 

Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Retrofit Surveyor will co-ordinate and deliver retrofit projects across Great Places’ homes. The Surveyor will take overall responsibility for overseeing the assessment of dwellings, the identification, specification and evaluation of energy efficiency measures for installation at a given dwelling and their subsequent monitoring and evaluation. 

About You: 

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in surveying or a relevant field and will have experience of deep retrofit in the domestic sector and of business development / networking. You will have excellent knowledge of building physics particularly insulation, ventilation. Strong IT skills are also essential. 

Additionally, you will be able to effectively liaise with colleagues and other stakeholders to give information, find information and resolve problems. You must have a passion, energy and enthusiasm for improving the energy efficiency of homes. You will also have the ability to work flexibly and when needed outside normal working hours.
