The salary will be paid at Grade 5, £28,660 to £33,199 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance (pro-rata). This post is a job share with another Senior Programmes Officer who will be working 0.6FTE on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The post is offered on a fixed term for 1 year. The post is part-time.
We currently have an opportunity for a 12 month fixed-term part-time Programme Officer at our Strand Campus for a role that is 14 hours per week (0.4 FTE).
Based in our Faculty of Arts & Humanities, the post holder will be required to be present on Thursdays and Fridays.
As a Senior Programme Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of support to students and academics in one of our nine Faculties. The role is pivotal in making sure that work across the student lifecycle is undertaken in line with university requirements, taking ownership of and resolving complex queries and issues and ensuring a high-quality service is offered to students and colleagues alike.
The Senior Programme Officer takes an active part in planning and coordinating work with relevant colleagues. In some settings the role may supervise work across a team of Programme Officers, in others, the post holder may have line manage responsibility for a team of staff.
