What it's about

The Examiner Management team work together to support our examiner community through our three exam series. The team manages the recruitment and deployment of examiners, including a dedicated helpdesk. The team is also responsible for ensuring that marking is completed in a timely fashion, working with various divisions to achieve this. The team is split into Pre and Post Examinations. We are looking for an administrator to join our Pre-Exam team, where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks primarily surrounding the creation, maintenance and administration of marking panels for three exam series.

What you'll be doing

  • To take responsibility for the timely and accurate delivery of an agreed set of Operations processes to agreed procedures
  • To liaise effectively with our examiner community as required via telephone, email and face-to-face, providing excellent customer service both internally and externally
  • To work to agreed deadlines and provide reports on progress as required to senior management
  • To adhere to Quality Standards, and to proactively identify improvements in processes
  • To establish and maintain effective liaison between own team and colleagues across the organisation
  • To take part in new developments and the delivery of new products and services as required
  • Other duties as defined by the line manager.

What we're looking for

  • Ideally educated to A Level (or equivalent status)
  • Proven administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience of working with internal and external customers and providing high levels of service
  • Strong team player, diplomatic, trustworthy, pragmatic and personable
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
  • The ability to learn new skills and processes easily, quickly and with accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
