If you are looking for a rewarding role within primary care with a practice that is leading the way with exciting new ways of working then look no further!

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to work with our Duty Team in Basingstoke. We work as a team, are all based together in a light and airy "hub" in order that we can support each other as necessary.

A little bit about us:
  • We are a recently merged practice of 44500 patients
  • Our clinical team is make up of doctors, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, clinical pharmacists, paramedic practitioners and HCAs all working together
  • The Duty Hub is a key part of our delivery of care and the members within it are part of a multi-disciplinary team working with our patient population.
  • We are forging links with the local secondary care team which means there are lots of opportunities for development for our clinicians. We have a number of GPs currently working part time within Secondary Care so they can bring these skills back to us at the end of the Link Programme.
  • We have invested in support for patients presenting with Mental Health needs, including a Community Psychiatric Nurse based within our Duty Hub daily and a special interest GP who is going to provide dedicated clinics for these patients.

Our Duty Hub is based at our St Andrews site, Western Way, and managed and lead by our Clinical Leads. Opportunities to train and develop are encouraged.

Competitive salary and benefits offered. Your day will start at 2pm and finish at 8pm, and each Saturday 8am to noon as we expand our services for our patients. Job share will be considered.
