About the role

Whether you are interested in securing regular supply teaching work, full or part-time teaching positions, a long-term teaching role, or a permanent teaching position, we'd love to hear from you asap.
With opportunities available for Newly Qualified Teachers, experienced teachers, retired teachers, and overseas-trained teachers, as well as teaching assistants or others who are looking to make a start in the education sector, Anzuk will work with you to provide teaching work to match your ideal requirements. Overseas teaching opportunities are also available, should you want to explore this at any time.

You will receive regular support from experienced consultants who have established outstanding relationships with our clients. Previous experience teaching children with SEND requirements (e.g. autism) would be advantageous, although is not essential.

The roles and responsibilities will vary somewhat dependent on the role:-

- Day to day supply teachers will potentially teach at a variety of schools, so flexibility and reliability, along with good classroom management and pupil engagement skills are key.
- Full-time roles will often include all responsibilities of a permanent teacher at the school, including planning and marking, attending meetings, etc.
- In all cases, you will be expected to provide an exceptional experience to the pupils within your classes.
- Teaching assistants will be required to support the teachers in their classroom practice, working with pupils to provide support and advice when required.

To apply and commence working with us you will :-
  • Possess an Enhanced Child DBS with an update service subscription, or be willing to apply for one through anzuk
  • Possess an up to date CV, with relevant
  • Be based in South Wales, surrounding areas, or planning to relocate and able to provide a valid police check from any countries you have lived in (outside of the United Kingdom) within the last 5 years
  • Have a willingness to learn and undertake new challenges!
  • For teachers - be qualified and registered with the EWC

Fully qualified teachers earn a minimum of £100 per day, dependent upon previous experience.
Unqualified Teaching Assistants earn a minimum of £60 a day.

Higher rates of pay can be considered for high-performing candidates with excellent references.

Permanent positions are paid to scale.
